I pre-ordered the game.....

just wondering..how do i reserve my characters name and how to I get my Exclusive weapon?

do i have to wait for a beta event?

Simple answer: As I understand it, yes.

Longer answer: As I understand it, The weapon is there for you, forever and always, as long as you have your code to put in. Youwill be creating your character for the first time during the next Beta Weekend (BWE), and after that, you'll have that name until you delete the character for good. (There's a thing about an hour's margin when you can re-create a chatacter witht he same name, but others can explain it better.) As I understand it, you CAN'T reserve your name now, but then again, neither can anyone else not in the Alpha testing, so there should be little worries there.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, no one's gonna take what's yours. I hope this helps. ^_^

To reserve a character name, just create a character with that name during a Beta Weekend Event. When the game is released, the character will be reset, but you'll still have the character with the name reserved. After release, you can delete the character if you want to, and you'll have something like 24 hours to create another character with the same name before anybody else can use the name.

You'll get your exclusive weapon after release- I assume it'll just be given to a character on your account, or the first character you create, or something like that- they haven't been too clear about what exactly they are doing with the weapons, but they have said that they're intended for after release, and not for the beta events.

First make sure you got the preorder box with the serial key. Then make sure you have an account set up and everything prim and proper. The items you get after release, and once you make a character name in the beta weekend event then its saved until you delete it.

your name is only reserved for an hour after you delete the char, not 24 hours
